Individuals, and their connections to each other, are at the heart of this study. I am looking for people who lived or worked on the JA Ranch between 1915-1930.

My ultimate goal is a table of individuals that can be searched and systemically analyzed to uncover the forgotten relationships within the group that served as the connective tissue that supported this small and remote community.

If you have a name to submit, or additional information to provide about people already listed here, please contact me through the form at the bottom of this page.

In the meantime, biographical narratives will reside here as a simple list:

Submit more information

I am primarily interested in anyone who lived or worked on the ranch between 1915-1930, but I will collect basic information on individuals associated with the ranch outside of those dates. Photographs are valuable because they provide important clues to the work and living conditions on the ranch.

For each individual, I would like to obtain dates of birth, death, and association with the ranch; social groups (such as churches), friendships and family relationships with others on the ranch, and the positions they held. However, even just a name is a starting point.
